The first requirement in becoming a Scottish Rite Mason is that you must be a Master Mason in a recognized Masonic Lodge. In New York, membership in any of our Lodges that are under the Jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of New York are recognized.
If you're already a Master Mason, you may wish to petition for Scottish Rite membership to further expand and enhance your Masonic knowledge. You can submit your Membership Application by clicking on the ONLINE Membership Application below, inputting the requested data, choosing Valley of New York City, uploading a copy of your current Symbolic Lodge Dues Card and when completed hitting SUBMIT. In due course you will be contacted by the Secretary of the Valley of New York City regarding your Application.

Please complete and bring this application or mail it together with the documents requested at the bottom of the first page to the Scottish Rite Office on 23rd Street.
